NUNAVUT TUNNGAVIK INCORPOATED 2ND VICE PRESIDENT TO MEET WITH OFFICIALS FROM GREENLAND THIS FALL TO DISCUSS WILDLIFE ISSUES.

Iqaluit, Nunavut (July 27, 2000) Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) Second Vice-President Raymond Ningeocheak made the decision to meet with officials from the Greenland Government during the 20th Anniversary of the Inuit Circumpolar Conference in Knuuk, Greenland, held recently.

As Wildlife issues is one of my responsibilities within Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. I am pleased to inform the Inuit of Nunavut that the meeting this year was a great learning experience, said Raymond Ningeocheak 2nd Vice-President of NTI.

I also learned that the Inuit Circumpolar Conference is an important organization in terms of letting the world learn more about the people of the Circumpolar regions.
