Nunavut Tunngavik Foundation Now Accepting Applications for Scholarships

(July 23, 2024, Iqaluit, Nunavut) Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) President Aluki Kotierk is pleased to announce a call-out for scholarship applications for the Nunavut Tunngavik Foundation (NTF). Application forms for the Skill & Employment Advancement and Post-Secondary Education Scholarships will be accepted from July 23, 2024, to August 31st, 2024, at 5:00 PM EST.

NTF has two scholarship programs:

3. Skill & Employment Advancement: $1,500 per recipient for attending a recognized program related to trades/employment skill development that is four weeks in length or longer (includes pre-trades, Personal Support Worker Program (PSW) etc.), and upgrading (A.B.E., P.A.S.S., foundation year, etc.).
4. Post-Secondary Education: $2,500 per recipient, enrolled in a recognized college or university program of two years or longer for a degree program or a preparatory program that leads to a degree program.

Applications are available at www.tunngavik.com and can be sent via mail, email, in person, or through your local Community Liaison Officer.
