(November 1, 2024 – Iqaluit, Nunavut) Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) Chief Returning Officer, Monica Ell-Kanayuk, announced that NTI’s nomination period for the election of President closed at 5 p.m. today local time.
The following candidates submitted papers in accordance with NTI’s Election Rules and Procedures for the Election of President. Below is the unofficial list of candidates:

Candidates have until Monday, November 4, 2024, at 5 p.m. local time to withdraw their papers.
Voters have five ways to vote in NTI’s election for President: Advance Polls on December 2, 2024, Election Day on December 9, 2024, by mobile poll, proxy vote or mail-in ballot.
