Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) is seeking proposals from a qualified consultant or consulting team to develop a 10-year implementation plan that will guide Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated (NTI’s) investments of Indigenous Health Equity Funding (IHEF). The IHEF is meant to support Indigenous-led approaches to increase access to health care, and make sure that care is high-quality and culturally safe. The scope of the funding is broad. It can be used for health capital or health infrastructure investments. In the summer of 2024, by way of an ITK Board of Directors resolution Nunavut was allocated $14 million per year over 10 years from the IHEF.
