NR 04-14 POR ENG Executive Portfolios.doc

(March 26, 2004 — Iqaluit, Nunavut) Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. President Paul Kaludjak today announced that James Eetoolook has taken on the role of Acting Vice-President of Finance. Eetoolook also currently serves as NTI’s 1st Vice-President.

I have complete confidence in Mr. Eetoolook’s abilities to hold down both positions, said Kaludjak. He is an extremely experienced and competent leader and will do an excellent job.

Kaludjak stepped down from the position of Vice-President of Finance after he won the election for NTI President on March 16, 2004. In accordance with NTI’s bylaws, when the Finance position becomes vacant, the 1st Vice-President automatically assumes the role in an acting capacity.

Eetoolook will hold the position until NTI holds its Annual General Meeting at the beginning of November. At that time, the members of the AGM will choose one of three possible options to fill the executive position: they can decide not to fill the position; they can call a byelection; or they can appoint someone from NTI’s Board of Directors or a qualified beneficiary to take on the role until the position comes up for re-election in 2006.
