Would you like to have a summer job researching wildlife and wildlife habitat in Nunavut? Are you interested in a career in wildlife or habitat biology?

If the answer is yes, keep reading.

Under the Inuit Impact and Benefits Agreement for National Wildlife Areas and Migratory Bird Sanctuaries signed in 2008, Inuit will be hired to work in the field as research assistants for up to eight weeks this coming summer. This is a great opportunity to work outdoors, meet new people, and learn more about wildlife and habitat science in Nunavut. If you are a student, you could also be hired to work in an Environment Canada office for four months during the summer.

The programs are being offered by Environment Canada in partnership with Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. and the Regional Inuit Associations.
