Manager, Special Projects

Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Manager, Special Projects is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects that support organizational operations and strategic priorities. The role ensures projects are completed efficiently, comply with technical and regulatory requirements, and align with Inuit rights under the Nunavut Agreement, organizational mandates, and community and regional priorities. The Manager works closely with internal departments, external consultants, governments, and other stakeholders to support successful project delivery and outcomes.

To be invited for an interview, candidates must have a degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field along with at least two years of leadership and project management experience, preferably in a regulatory, infrastructure, or Indigenous governance setting. Strong communication, database, teamwork, and financial management skills are required, as well as knowledge of infrastructure development. Ability to work in Inuktut and experience with Inuit programs and communities is considered an asset. Equivalencies of education and experience will be considered.

Preference will be given to Inuit enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement.

Salary range is $138,300 to $165,900 per annum (commensurate with experience). A comprehensive benefits package including an employee pension plan, group insurance and vacation travel assistance.

Northern and Housing allowance of $35,865.00
