Information Systems Manager reports to the Director of Communications. This position exists to provide and lead the direction of Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated (NTI) in regards to all Information Technology (IT) systems and networks. This position ensures all systems are functioning effectively and is to maintain connectivity in order for work to be carried out efficiently. This position oversees technical support to NTI’s systems and networks in other regions and assists NTI staff, executive and a number of board of directors in resolving problems with use of computer hardware, software and telephone systems.
The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Information Technology and/or Certification in a similar program as well as a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field. You will be versed in designing, implementing and monitoring Wide Area and Local Area Networks and have the ability to administer and operate network server applications and consumer level application packages. The position requires an individual who is experienced in supervising staff locally and remotely.
Starting salary is $106,775.00 per annum with $24,000.00 per annum of Northern and Housing allowance and a comprehensive benefit package including an employee pension plan, group insurance and vacation travel assistance.
