Re-Advertisement: Inuit Employment and Training Coordinator

Reporting to the Director of Inuit Employment and Training, the Coordinator will provide administrative support to the division and the Makigiaqta Inuit Training Corporation (MITC). The Coordinator will be responsible for invoice payments, contract entries, and working with various organizations to ensuring proposals, mid-term reports and financial reports are complete. This also includes coordinating travel warrants for staff and members of the advisory council and booking meeting venues and logistics when needed.

To be considered for this position, the candidate must have Grade 12 with 2 years related experience in the field of training, employment, or program/project management. This includes experience in evaluating proposals and working with various stakeholders, agencies and governments. The candidate must have financial management work experience.. Experience with Inuit employment plans is considered an asset as this position requires liaising with partners involved in Inuit Employment Planning. Equivalencies will be considered. Preference will be given to Inuit who are enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement.

Starting salary is $64,047per annum with $24,000.00 per annum of Northern and Housing allowance and a comprehensive benefit package including an employee pension plan, group insurance and vacation travel assistance.
