(February 2, 2021, Rankin Inlet,Nunavut) Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) is pleased to announce a second call-out for Nunavut Tunngavik Foundation (NTF) scholarship applications. Application forms for the Skill & Employment Advancement and Post-Secondary Education Scholarships will be accepted from February 1, 2021 to February 12, 2021 at 5:00PM CST.
“The Foundation awarded 191 Post-Secondary Scholarships and 57 Training & Advancement Scholarships in the fall of 2020. We are able to support more students and this second call out will help more students get the financial support they need to succeed” said James Eetoolook, Acting President of NTI.
This call for applications is only available to students that did not access NTF Scholarships during 2020 call for applications.
NTF has two scholarship programs:
- Skill & Employment Advancement: $1,500 per recipient, for attending a recognized program related to trades/employment skill development that is four weeks in length or longer (includes pre-trades, G.R.E.A.T.) and upgrading (A.B.E., P.A.S.S., G.E.D., foundation year, etc).
- Post-Secondary Education: $2,500 per recipient, enrolled in a recognized college or university program of two years in length or longer for a degree program or a preparatory program that leads to a degree program.
Application can be submitted via mail, email, fax, or through your local Community Liaison Officer.
