NTI to Host Annual Televised Year-in-Review Program

NR 06-22 YIR ENG Year in Review Broadcast.doc

(November 28, 2006 — Iqaluit, Nunavut) Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. will broadcast a two-hour Year-in-Review live, televised program on the Aboriginal People’s Television Network (APTN) Northern Service on Dec. 7, 2006 from 7-9 p.m. EST.

President Paul Kaludjak, 1st Vice-President and Vice-President of Finance James Eetoolook and 2nd Vice-President Raymond Ningeocheak will all participate in the broadcast with well-known host and former CBC personality Moses Atagoyuk.

NTI organizes the annual Year-in-Review program to give Beneficiaries the opportunity to call in and express their concerns and ask questions. The informational program will also update Beneficiaries on the accomplishments made by NTI in 2006.

We appreciate the opportunity to update our Beneficiaries, and we look forward to their comments, said Kaludjak. Because Nunavut is so vast, a television call-in program keeps us connected with our Beneficiaries. This is important to NTI.

Beneficiaries are encouraged to watch the program and take part by calling in with questions concerning implementation of the NLCA, the financial health of NTI, land and water use in Nunavut, wildlife, and the Residential School Settlement Agreement. Audience members can call toll-free 1-800-337-6186 or 867-979-0810.

This is the fourth annual Year-in-Review Program hosted by NTI.
