NTI Elections Nomination Period to Open

(February 7, 2006 — Iqaluit, Nunavut) Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. today announced that the Nomination Period for NTI Elections will open today, Feb. 7, 2006. The Nomination Period will remain open for two weeks and closes Feb. 21, 2006.
Elections for NTI Executive Officer positions are held every two years. On March 21, 2006, one position is up for election, 1st Vice-President and Vice-President of Finance. The term of the successful candidate is four years. Elections for the positions of President and 2nd Vice-President will be held in 2008.
Eligible candidates must be Canadian citizens, at least 16 years of age and enrolled or eligible to enroll under the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement.
