NTI Elections for Vice President Weather Updates

(December 11, 2018 — Iqaluit, Nunavut) Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) Chief Returning Officer Nancy Karetak-Lindell announced this morning that the polling station for NTI elections has reopened in Gjoa Haven today from 10am – 4pm local time at the Nattilik Heritage Centre.
The Hamlet of Arctic Bay remains closed due to weather for the rest of the day, Dec. 11.
As such the counting of the ballots from all polling stations has been postponed until further notice pending Arctic Bay weather conditions.
Updates will be provided tomorrow morning.
Results will be posted on our website at www.tunngavik.com when available pending weather conditions.
James Eetoolook and Peter Ohokanoak are competing for the role of Vice President during this election.
