Celebrate Nunavut!

July 9, 2011, is Nunavut Day.

This year’s event in Iqaluit promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Nunavut Tunngavik, Government of Nunavut, Government of Canada and Nunavut Tourism have joined forces to host the annual Nunavut Day activities.

Events take place in the Legislative Assembly parking lot in Iqaluit from 1-5 p.m. on July 9.

Participants can look forward to a traditional Inuit country food, barbecued hamburgers, games for kids and adults, and live music.
