- Letter of reference from an Elder.
- Letter of reference from a community leader (mayor, teacher, nurse).
- Letter of reference from a peer.
- The essay. The essay could profile a former or current leader. It could discuss how the NLCA negotiations affected your family life, or be about your memories of the negotiations. It could be about a specific aspect of the NLCA.
- A letter of confirmation of admission into a program or proof of continuing education.
- Send application and confirm that it has been received in whole.
