IQALUIT, Nunavut (February 26, 2001) Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated (NTI) finished its Board of Directors Meeting in Arctic Bay, Nunavut on February 22, 2001. A wide range of issues was discussed over the course of the three day meeting.

A community feast and dance were held the evening of February 20, and donations were made by NTI to the Dog Team Race Committee, Inuujaq School and the Arctic Bay Hunters and Trappers Association.

The community of Arctic Bay and Mayor Niore Iqalukjuaq were thanked for their hospitality. Plaques of appreciation were presented by President Paul Quassa to Philip Qamanirq and to Nagjugaq Akpaliapik for their service to the community and to Nunavut.
